They had Money, Sex and Power. It just wasn’t Enough.

Go forth and conquer!

"An entertaining and often savage exploration of generational change in business... bitingly excellent gags... excellent design and a strong sense of dark satire." Stephen Dunne, THE SYDNEY MORNING HERALD. (more)

The Young Tycoons is a scathing, sweeping, cynical – but always hilarious – comedy about sex, money, lies, money, treachery, backstabbing, ruthlessness, money, money, money – and even a bit of true love. Topical - even scandalous – this outrageous satire follows media tycoons, both young and old, journos, models, Lifestyle TV hosts, businessmen and one poor Press Secretary in their ugly, ruthless pursuit of filthy lucre, power, respect, opportunity… and love.

Trevor and Kim are two young men on the verge of being handed more wealth, power and prestige than is commonly imaginable – but can they handle it? Or is there truth in the old adage: The first generation acquires it; the second generation builds it… and the third generation f**ks it up?

Watch and laugh as fortunes are risked, secrets are exposed, unspeakable acts are performed and lives are ruined… and feel a whole lot better about your own position on the Rich and Powerful List.

Greed is the new Black.

Two-time AFI Award Winner Peter Kowitz leads a brilliant cast of nine in a World Premiere Australian satire that is epic in scope, brutal in nature, very, very funny – and sooooo Sydney. If you don’t recognise yourself on stage, you’ll recognise someone you know.
