Friends Like These is a stage adaptation of Christopher’s play Barnesy, the Harbour and You. It's a Rom-Com with hookers. When Vic unceremoniously breaks up with Judy, it sets off a chain reaction of bitter lies, invented and inflamed by their bored, jealous friends Miles and Sarah. In a desperate bid to outdo one another, Vic and Judy end up hiring professional escorts to pretend to be their new lovers on the Office Christmas Cruise. Set in the pubs, offices, gyms and apartments of inner-city Sydney, and then on Sydney Harbour, FRIENDS LIKE THESE takes a blackly comic, provocative look at modern urban relationships – and at the horrors of the office Christmas party.
