Welcome to the online home of CJ Johnson and Spooky Duck Productions. Here you can find out what you need to know about CJ’s movies, plays, screenplays, prose, radio programs and just about everything else.

CJ graduated the Australian Film, Television and Radio School at the end of 2009; while there he made the short film THE BRIS, based on an award-winning short story by US writert Eileen Pollack, and was one of four directors selected to make the four-story feature film BEFORE THE RAIN, the first ever collaboration between AFTRS and NIDA (the National Institute of Dramatic Art). CJ's section of the film, the nineteen-minute comedy STEAMBOAT, was written by Cannes Camera D'Or winner Shirley Barrett. Both films will be entered into major festivals this year.

Read CJ's film writing at Film Mafia. This includes potted versions of the reviews he broadcasts on TONY DELROY'S NIGHTLIFE on ABC 702AM Sydney, and nationally throughout Australia on your local ABC station, every Tuesday night at around 11:20pm EST.
